Focus Areas
Trusted and Extensible Multi-Source Fusion
Develops a processing and exploitation capability that collects, collates, and fuses observations from phenomenologically diverse sensors into a single coherent track for a Resident Space Object—scored separately for existence, state, association, identification, and characterization while preserving source lineage and rapidly admitting new data sources without software releases.
Object, Orbit, and Engagement Characterization
Develops an analytic capability carrying Resident Space Objects from orbital elements to characterized engagements—establishing behavioral baselines (Pattern of Life), detecting out-of-family deviations, and assessing one-on-one or two-on-one engagement risk with traceable confidence to accelerate tactical decision timelines.
Battle Damage Indications / Assessment
Improve Battle Damage Indications (BDI) and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) by accelerating the collection, fusion, analysis, and dissemination of multi-source data to deliver faster, higher-confidence operational assessments across the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) lifecycle.
Crimson Forge
Establish a secure technology maturation environment that rapidly advances commercial Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and battle management, command, control, communications, and space intelligence capabilities (BMC3I) from TRL 4 to TRL 7/8, accelerating transition into operational PoRs.
